Our SEND Promise

At our nursery, we are committed to the inclusion and wellbeing of all children, recognising each child as an individual with the right to a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Every child will be encouraged and supported to reach their full potential alongside their peers, regardless of their abilities or needs.

Our Commitment

  • We provide a welcoming and non-discriminatory environment, tailored to meet individual needs.
  • All children have access to a broad, balanced, and aspirational early learning curriculum.
  • We work in close partnership with parents/carers and external professionals to create inclusive and supportive plans.

SEND Support Approach

We follow the Graduated Approach: Assess → Plan → Do → Review

  • Assess: The key person, SENDCO and parents identify needs based on observation and professional input.
  • Plan: Collaborative goals and interventions are agreed upon with clear outcomes and review dates.
  • Do: The key person implements daily support, with SENDCO guidance.
  • Review: Regular evaluation of progress involving the child (where appropriate), parents, and all relevant professionals.
