At Kids-Time Day Nursery, we understand how important it is for children to feel a sense of belonging from the very beginning. That’s why every new child who joins us receives a free Kids-Time T-shirt as a welcome gift.

This small gesture helps children feel part of the Kids-Time family from day one – fostering confidence, inclusion, and pride in their nursery environment.

In addition to our free welcome T-shirt, we also offer Kids-Time jumpers and fleeces, perfect for keeping little ones warm and cosy in all seasons. These optional items are:

Ideal for helping children feel settled and part of the group.

Parents/ carers can choose to purchase extra T-shirts, jumpers, or fleeces at any time. While uniform is not compulsory, it is encouraged to build a strong sense of community and shared identity.

Getting Ready for School – Building a Love for Reading

At Kids-Time Day Nursery, we’re passionate about supporting children as they prepare for their next big step—starting school. In our dedicated MyTime Room, we focus on developing key skills that promote school readiness, confidence, and independence.

As part of this, every child in the MyTime Room receives a special Kids-Time book bag.

Weekly Book Bags – Encouraging a Love of Reading

Each week, children take home a carefully chosen book in their bag to:

Build a positive reading routine at home.
Encourage language and communication skills.
Strengthen the bond between children and their parents/carers through shared reading.
Instil a lifelong love of books and stories.

By making reading a regular, enjoyable part of their day, we help children develop early literacy skills and the confidence to express themselves—giving them the very best start for school.
